| Tom brought his 2000 VW Cabrio for show. It's a great looking VW. John and his wife had a bit of trouble with there 65 Beetle so the put it on a trailer and still made the show. That's dedication. Sean, daughter Megan and John B. rode together in Sean's Jetta. He had a hard time keeping up with the beetle's :-) Our only incident of the day is when Sean's daughter Megan opened dad's trunk to get something and locked his keys in the trunk. Luckily the sunroof was slightly open. A plastic hanger hook, Duck tape, and Laurie's walking stick managed to snag the door handle on the inside and viola, a disaster evaded. |

| This was one nice 55 convertible. One of the Old Fort member is restoring a black 58 in memory of his grandfather. He brought the finished pan to show off some fantastic work. Here is a nice Empi Beetle for sale. Do you have an extra 15k laying around. It is nice. |
We packed up headed home after one great show. We stopped and grabbed a bite to east first. Nothing like a good VW
show to build ones appetite. Ron's 65 likes to travel between 60-65. Both Ron and Dave with his great looking 1970 Beetle
named "Tweety" had a fantastic trip. Ron E. and Kevin rode in the big Ford truck and followed steadily along. We made it
home just before the heavens opened up. We met allot of VW folks from the Michiana area that liked the idea of having a
local club. We hope to hear from you and we hope you join us travelling to another automotive event.
